Industrial Network Architecture: Foundation

Prerequisite Course

CCP183: EtherNet/IP Configuration and Troubleshooting or equivalent experience.

Controls engineers have a strong domain knowledge of automation derived from fieldbus experience, while IT engineers have a strong domain knowledge of IP technologies from enterprise network deployments. This course provides both with a sufficient level of knowledge to allow them to collaboratively architect a machine or process skid network, or to operate as a credible domain expert in a multi-function team under the leadership of their counterpart. Starting from the ground up, IT and OT professionals will learn how to design an operation’s logical and physical network infrastructure.

There are no CEUs associated with this course.
